Try the LAKE pajamas Kathleen recommended! I have two pairs. They're perfect night and day, year-round. They made great holiday gifts last year. The Kimono Pajama Set is my favorite!
Thank you, Kathleen! The sundress was expensive, but for our 30th, I wanted something that felt special (without having to look for it!). But I love your newsletter for more than your recs! Your essays are unpretentious, relatable, and intimately warm. Your posts on mental health normalize the conversation. And although I have no plans to write a book, book publishing is a public interest issue, so I appreciate your clear-eyed takes on what's going on.
So much wisdom here Daphne! And I loved seeing you shine in all the photos too. I found myself nodding throughout and if I could quote the entire essay I would! And thank you for the shout out, what a kind gesture. I’m circling back to learn about Kathleen Schmidt now.:)
Kimberly, I'm so happy to support your work—helping people feel seen and share their stories is always important, especially during a health challenge or at the end of life. And thank you for your warm message. It's sad when I think about the time I wasted worrying about my body rather than enjoying it. At 50, I feel like, "No more!" Still, the voices of self-doubt might never totally go away. Remembering that I don't have forever makes it easier to ignore them.
Thank you so much and please apologize to your wallet for me.
Perhaps I’ll pre-apologize to mine as well. Heading over to your stack now.:)

Did you say pajamas for day and night? Yes please!

"People are blamed when they’re deprived and then praised when they deprive themselves." Ugggh, this is SO true and SO well stated.
Happy 50th birthday Daphne! Lots to relate to and learn from. Cheers!
Thank you Jenna! And likewise from everything you share :)
